This second-floor suite is named for Robert W. MacVittie, SUNY Geneseo President from 1963-1979. MacVittie helped fulfill great expectations for the original teachers college founded in 1871 by transforming it into the nationally recognized college we know today.

Concord Coach Room
Enjoy more than coach comforts in this second-floor room. The famed Wadsworth family coach was purchased in 1874 and can still be seen in the Livingston County Museum in Geneseo. The Concord Coach Room will remind you of the rewards at the end of an exciting journey.

Lily-of-the-Valley Room
This third-floor room was named for Elizabeth "Lilly" Wadsworth (1815-1852). Lily fell in love with English visitor Charles Murray, but her father forbade marriage. For years Lily consoled herself by tending her garden. Finally, after her father's death, she traveled to England and married her beloved.
